EZ Welding & Fabrication is a locally owned and operated welding and metal fabrication company based in Gillette, Wyoming. Founded on craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work, the company provides certified welding, custom fabrication, mobile field repairs, plasma cutting, sandblasting, and protective coating services for agricultural, industrial, oilfield, and private clients throughout Campbell County and the Powder River Basin.
With decades of combined experience across shop and field environments, our team is equipped to handle everything from small repairs to large structural and industrial projects. Meet The Team
Owner & Lead Welder
Eric
Eric is a highly experienced welding and fabrication professional with more than two decades of hands-on and leadership experience in the industrial, oil and gas, and private sectors. As the owner of EZ Welding & Fabrication in Gillette, Wyoming, Eric has built a reputation for delivering high-quality custom metal solutions with precision, reliability, and attention to detail.
His expertise spans stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, cast iron, and select specialty metals. Eric’s background includes pipe welding, structural fabrication, plasma cutting, sandblasting, coating, and complex repairs performed both in-shop and in the field. Under his leadership, EZ Welding operates a fully equipped facility capable of supporting projects of all sizes — from small repairs to large industrial builds.
Prior to founding EZ Welding & Fabrication, Eric served as Welding Shop Foreman for Greg’s Welding in Gillette. In that role, he managed crews, coordinated projects, estimated and bid jobs, oversaw materials and scheduling, and maintained quality control across multiple operations. His leadership style is rooted in efficiency, safety, and delivering dependable results.
Eric began his career through a formal apprenticeship with Steamfitters UA Local 475 in Warren, New Jersey, where he developed a strong foundation in pipe fitting, welding processes, blueprint reading, and system installation. He holds multiple welding certifications and brings a deep understanding of industry standards and craftsmanship to every project.
Known for his strong work ethic and problem-solving ability, Eric takes pride in building long-term client relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson, target shooting, gaming, and spending time with family and friends.
Co-Owner & Operations
Jennifer
Jennifer is the co-owner of EZ Welding & Fabrication and a proud Gillette native whose career reflects resilience, leadership, and dedication to her community. A breast cancer survivor, she brings more than two decades of experience in business operations, finance, and management within the oil and gas industry.
Jennifer currently serves as Vice President of Finance for Precision Well Service, where she helps oversee multimillion-dollar operations, supports field crews, and drives efficiency, accountability, and long-term growth. Her financial and operational expertise strengthens the foundation of EZ Welding & Fabrication and ensures the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Wyoming and an Associate of Science in Business from Gillette College. At EZ Welding, Jennifer manages financial oversight, administration, project coordination, and customer communication, helping ensure every client receives dependable, professional service.
Deeply rooted in Gillette, Jennifer is committed to building a company grounded in integrity, hard work, and community values. Her attention to detail and perseverance help keep the business organized, efficient, and focused on delivering quality results.
Certified Welder & Fabricator
Byron
Born and raised in Snohomish, Washington, Byron grew up in a hardworking family and was introduced to metalworking at an early age through his father, a self-employed machinist. He discovered his passion for welding in high school and attended Sno-Isle Skills Center, where he focused on welding and metal fabrication while gaining hands-on shop experience.
After graduation, Byron worked in fabrication shops producing equipment components and hospital bed frames before serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, including two deployments to Iraq. His military service strengthened his discipline, work ethic, and attention to detail.
Following his service, Byron joined the Boilermakers Union through a helmet-to-hard-hat training program, expanding his technical skill set and field experience. In 2012, he relocated to Gillette, Wyoming, where he began working in the oil and gas industry.
Throughout his career, Byron has worked with a wide range of materials and processes, including TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel, wire-feed stainless and carbon steel, aluminum wire feed, and stick welding on carbon steel pipe and structural steel. His experience spans both shop fabrication and demanding field environments.
Simply put, Byron has welded just about everything — from heavy industrial components to intricate fabrication projects — bringing reliability and skill to every job.
Certified Welder & Fabricator
Nate
Nate is a highly skilled welder and fabricator with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in military, structural, and oil and gas industries. He began his career in the United States Navy, where he completed Naval Basic Training and Welding School and performed hull repairs, piping, plumbing, and structural fabrication on naval vessels. His military background instilled a strong work ethic and commitment to precision and safety.
After his service, Nate worked throughout Missouri and Oklahoma fabricating mechanic beds, flatbeds, and structural bridge components before spending over 15 years with Greg’s Welding. There, he specialized in pipeline layout and welding, fabrication of stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum spool pieces, and a wide range of oilfield repairs.
He is proficient in Stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and gas brazing processes, working with carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. Nate is also a certified Code Welder for pressure vessels and piping and holds certification as a Crane Operator, adding versatility and value on demanding job sites.
At EZ Welding & Fabrication, Nate continues to deliver high-quality fabrication and repair solutions, bringing decades of experience and technical expertise to every project.
Administration & Client Support
Danielle
Born and raised in Gillette, Danielle brings strong organizational and people-centered skills to EZ Welding & Fabrication. She began her professional career as an Executive Assistant at the Boys & Girls Club, where she developed leadership, administrative, and community engagement experience while supporting youth-focused programs.
Danielle later pursued cosmetology, earned her license, and successfully operated her own salon for four years. As a business owner, she managed daily operations, built a loyal client base, and developed strong customer service and management skills.
Following her time as a salon owner, Danielle dedicated several years to working with high-needs students, demonstrating patience, compassion, and a commitment to making a positive difference in her community.
Now serving in an administrative role at EZ Welding & Fabrication, Danielle supports daily operations, client communication, and organizational management. Her professionalism and attention to detail help ensure projects move efficiently and customers receive excellent service from start to finish.
